Than there is this:http://www.facebook.com/notes/megan-tanner/dear-concept27/268749476530746

Ms. Megan Tanner is concerned about people hiding behind the protection of the internet...What I stated here is the experience I had. I did not mention any names and described truly what I felt. I had just passed my racer license and was very excited about selecting a number. The 15 minute conversation in the office is what it took for me to get the impression of the vibe in the office. Besides, I was not hiding behind anything. If you took a little pride in your work you could look up my name and race number which I put on my bottom of the post: HS 626 = Henry Salari race number 626...which you gave me a lot of hard time to choose. My $.02

Small excerpt...since we are posting excerpts...

start whatever racing scene you want. call it whatever you want. and i will actually wish you well because what matters are these racers. keep them happy. but please, also keep in mind that my sister and i thoroughly enjoyed what we did and had it taken away from us. in no way do we deserve to have the work that we did there, whether you were pleased with it or not, to be made a mockery of in order to make whatever you're trying to do look better. not only should you have respect for us, but most of all, for yourself.

perhaps your lack in that is the reason you felt like such a bother and annoyance to us... *sigh*
^^^^^^So I wasn't that far off^^^^^^

ladies and gentlemen, i present to you CONCEPT27, the first candidate for the 2012 Tye1138/Simmons Memorial Banana In Tailpipe Award.

sorry buddy ~ you're say you're new, and you cite a 15 minute telephone conversation as foundation to bag on people that most, if not all, of us hold in high regard and whose plight we all sympathize with deeply.

i'm gonna go ahead and conclude the problem is you. hope you don't work for any companies whose interests are affected by our loss, 'cause you sure would reflect poorly on them.

It wasn't a phone conversation, it was in person in the office. You're right. The problem is me:

[*]Sorry I am new to racing and was not aware about the numbering scheme.
[*]Sorry I came in and was hoping to get a 300 number and was rudely confronted and told about the 500 and up rule.
[*]Sorry I did not know anything about the fee schedule.
[*]And sorry when I called and asked Megan just three weeks ago to send me a copy of the newly created logo for WSIR so I can use it on some of the flyers we are about to print I got nothing.
[*]and sorry for calling again and asking for the logo...and got nothing...
[*]and sorry for taking the time for recreating the logo and not wanting to deal with the office drama and the huffs and puffs,
[*]and sorry for bothering the office ladies with their busy schedule and asking for something so extra ordinary.

I can post at least 5 comments from Facebook and a couple on here (read previous posts) from people who share the same feelings but I won't.

Do people have an "off day"? Absolutely!!! Do I snap at a customer when I am having a bad day? have many times!!! But the aftermath of my comment, the overreaction of the parties involved and how this is spilling out on three different forums, and now a very dramatic letter has been written and Megan who used to be a FB friend has not unfriended me has sent me a private message with the link to her little note...lets me further know I wasn't too far from off.

I deal with clients on a daily basis. Paying clients..clients who are in need of my help...and clients who rub me the wrong way and there are times where I get frustrated and may show a less than stellar level of service to my clients...but once the dust has settled or when someone actually make me aware of my "hiccup" I gladly take responsibility for my actions and throw in a apology here and there...although deep inside I know the client may have had something to do with my outburst....it doesn't cost me anything but it sure leaves a great impression on the other end. Unfortunately, I did not get a similar response from Megan or any other person from the office.

I could be way off and totally wrong with the way I felt but not once in the last few days have I seen something like "Hey dude...we must have all had a bad day..sorry if you were confronted with a bitchy attitude...chuckle....haha...lol" or something like that...I wouldn't have hurt anyone...but it would have at least shown some character.

Now I need to go watch some football....need to balance out the lack of testosterone overabundance of estrogen level I am experiencing right now. :(

in my experience, racers ~ and especially new racers ~ have always been enthusiastically welcomed and assisted by staff and racers alike in ways that far exceed the experience in other race organizations. if people stuck with wsmc over the hard times for any one reason, i'll make a bet that this would be the most common one.

but some people just have it hard wherever they go.

if you keep digging, you will find plenty of pockets of discontent within the ranks, and for plenty of legitimate reasons. hell, you may recruit a few to your 'cause, and that's okay by me. we're all gonna be a little high on emotion, and in times like these, with a dose of extra passion, shit really gets done.

good luck to you and your merry band. make something better.

I've been with WSMC about 10 years and there was never a problem in the office. Always greeted with a smile and the utmost politeness. Only issue I ever had was with a new guy at tech not knowing his crap. Oh, then there was Stern. :o

Russ +1

Concept, you've already showed a little poor judgement and criticized folks who put a lot into WSMC. Things can always be better, but your approach might need some improvement.

I'm happy to see some potential race dates with AFM and WERA and I suspect that will help fill the demand in the near term in addition to CVMA.

Aw man, just found out about this. Even though my time with the club was relatively short, parts of 2 seasons, the memories I have of that time are some of the best of my life. I was pretty new to riding in general and learned to race like most of us...by just jumping in. Made some rookie mistakes, for sure, beating the hell out of my body and prematurely ending my potentially stellar career  , but I have no regrets. None.

Starting racing the same time and against Jesus Amezcua. Was there when he passed away. I will never forget that day. :(

Anyway, here's to The Club and you bastards who made it what it was. Viva WSMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very sad to hear of the end of WSMC.

Best to all for a great 2012, and hoping Megan and Ashley are doin' okay.

So your complaint is that you didn't read the rule book and the staff didn't accommodate your request to hand over assets (that by the way, weren't WSMC's but rather the track's) for your personal venture.

Oh and that Megan unfriended you when you complained about it anonymously on the internet. Am I right?

I'm sorry Megan unfriended you. I'm sure Tye is looking for pals if you're lonely.

It's been a while since I posted on this board, so... Hi Russ, Kenny, Chris and whomever else might be reading.
